EYE EXAMINATIONS
A routine eye exam is essential for everyone at all ages. Eye exams should be performed no less than every two years and in many cases less than that depending on the doctor’s suggestion. Many eye diseases have few if not any symptoms to the patient and if left untreated, the damage may be irreversible.

An eye exam at BENSE Optical & Optometry involves several steps. You will first be checked in by one of the secretaries and then seen too by one of the Optometric assistants for several screening tests. Dr. Bense will then see you for a full and extensive eye exam, which would include an exam for diseases including, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, hypertension, cataracts, infections etc… as well as providing you with a prescription for glasses and or contact lenses.
